Faculty for Hindustani Classical and Nazrul Geeti

Somapriya completed Sangeet Bharati course in Hindustani Classical Music with first class and distinction from Gitabitan,Kolkata. She took training in Hindustani Classical and semi classical Music from Smt.Saswati Chaudhury, and Chandramouli Rao, Nazrulgeeti from Smt.Purabi Dutta, Bengali songs from Vid.Hoimonti Shukla. She is a radio artist and a regular stage performer.

Miss Suparna Aich

Faculty for Kathak, Classical, Semi-classical, Folk, Rabindra-nritya dance

Suparna is our youngest faculty member. She started her training in dance in very tender age and completed Nritya Bisharad in Hindustani Classical Music from Pracheen Kalakendra, Chandigarh. She is a disciple of Pandit Shyamal Maharaj Ji, Gitali Basu Aich and Jhuma Mukherjee. She is a regular stage performer.

Smt. Amrita Sanyal

Faculty for Creative dance

Amrita is trained in classical and contemporary dance, a well-established trainer,teacher and choreographer. She has performed on many National and Ineternational platforms.

Mrs. Madhura Sarkar

Faculty for Odissi dance

Madhura completed her Masters in Odissi dance.She is a disciple of Guru Poushali Mukherjee and Guru Sutapa Talukdar.She has performed at many National and International dance festivals. She has been training the students for many years now.

Mrs. Sabina Lohia

Faculty for Bharatnatyam dance

Sabina is a professional Bharatnatyam dancer with nearly 40 years of experience.She learnt the art under keen guidance of Sr. M.Vishnudas and Vidwan Sri. K.Ramamurthy.She is a regular performer in Bangalore Doordarshan.

Mrs. Sushmita Das

Faculty for Hindustani Classical music, Rabindra Sangeet and folk songs

Sushmita is a trained and professional music teacher. She has won many awards in inter-college competitions. As a teacher,she emphasizes on voice training and encourage her students to learn various form of music.
